This year we are hosting a new kind of class called a sew along. Unlike a traditional quilt class where you cut and prep all your fabric before class and then sew like crazy to try and keep up we will take a quilt and break it down to a few classes. This is a more relaxed approach. It is nice to go through not only the sewing process in class but also the fabric selection and cutting. Our first class will be making the Pieces of Love Quilt. This quilt can be made in three sizes; baby, throw, or queen. It also allows you to use 8 or 16 different fabrics. Nikki will be sewing the baby size with 8 fabrics. WE will break this quilt down into 3classes. Fabric Selection and Cutting, Piecing pt 1, Piecing pt 2 and putting it all together.
We will have two great color options of FQs available if you want to keep it easy. This is also a great quilt to raid your stash and use some of those FQs you have been collecting.
